 Does WWE go too far?
« Thread Started on Feb 13, 2006, 10:41am »

Okay, last time I watched Raw was when they displayed, what I think was an unacceptable sexual scene of Lita and Edge. I know this happened about a month or so ago, but that's beside the point. They should not be displaying such crap on a wrestling show. The main key here is WRESTLING. They need to show more wrestling. When I turn it to Raw Is War, I wanna see wrestling, not some sexual scene, which is especially unacceptable for little children. If I wanted to see the stuff, then I wouldn't have changed it to a wrestling show. Vince wonders why he's been losing so many fans. If you look at it, little kids actually used to go see Raw, but not anymore. Hmmmm...I wonder why? I guess that's obvious. ::) Anyway, what do you all think? Do you think they sometimes go too far?

Thanks, Collector

Its depends how you look at it. Sure there shouldnt be sex scenes on raw but the ratings jumped up right? I say as long as the ratings are up, keep pushin the envelope. Wrestling hasnt been a kid show in almost a decade.

As long as Vince sees the ratings are popping up for sex scenes, then yes, he's going to keep doing it. I'm sure there's still kids out there who watch wrestling, though. Parents who see such sex scenes on a wrestling show will most likely change the channel if they have kids. I personally can't say I blame them.

They should have. Oh, by the way, Raw came on last night as "Thursday Night Raw." A dog show come on Monday night, so they had to move it to Thursday. From parts I seen, there's still nothing interesting happening.

i liked the vince/ hbk saga they have goin. Two great characters and actors. hhh vs big show wasnt bad. I told someone else this a week or two ago, all they are doin is settin up for wrestlemania. So dont expect any great raw shows. But Saturday night main event is coming right before wrestlemania, so i think the rumor main event is edge vs cena in a cage. But we've seen them wrestle quiete a few times now.

I like RAW the most of all three brands. I hate Smackdown for one main reason. King Booker. He has gone so over the top with the King of the World crap it's sickening.

I personally wouldn't know much about Smackdown, but I have kept up a little on Raw lately. Believe it or not, this is the first time I've watched it in almost a year. Wrestlemania 23 is sure to be a hit. A friend of mine is going to see it live.

Agreed. But it's still good for a laugh.

I couldn't agree more, George. Just when you think they're done from going over the edge, they come up out of nowhere and surprise you. I went to Backlash, and was disgusted by the display that Vince put on about God. The wrestling world has gone completely insane. ::) I miss the old days of the early 90's. :(
